ABOUT US
We are an English/South African family that has lived in Cape Town for around 15 years. All of our children went to school here, and now shuttle happily between London, Cape Town and points between. We originally built the cottage for visiting family and friends, but hope to put on our backpacks next year, so are opening the door a little wider.
Whether you want to test how it feels to be a swallow, finally write that book, or see what it is that keeps Cape Town at the top of the 'best place to visit' lists, we are happy to help you plan your visit, to recommend the restaurants we love and places we think you shouldn’t miss.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT
LIVING HERE
-
Walking to the Noordhoek Farm Village in the morning to buy warm, freshly baked bread and croissants.
-
Waking to the chirping of flocks of Cape white eyes feasting on the seeds of the wild peach trees (from which the cottage gets its name).
-
Walking to the Foodbarn Restaurant for spectacularly good food in the evening.
-
The 5 minute drive to 8 kms of pristine white sandy beach.
-
The 15 minute drive to the penguins at Boulders Beach (way cheaper than therapy).
-
Being less than an hour from the centre of Cape Town, and not that much further from a variety of beautiful wine farms.

WILD PEACH COTTAGE
Set in a secluded corner of our 5 acre garden, Wild Peach cottage is a three bedroom, three-bathroom cottage with a full kitchen.
Hand built from locally sourced ghost gums, oak and sandstone it is a place to slow down, to enjoy the sea and mountain views, to browse in our veggie garden for a sun warmed salad, to swim some lengths or just laze about in the 17m pool.
